I FIND DEEP INSPIRATION IN MOVIES, LOVE-SONGS, ART, NATURE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...GOD. I AM REMINDED EVERYDAY OF THE BEAUTY HE’S CREATED, AND I STRIVE TO LET THAT SHINE THROUGH IN MY WORK.

About me
May 4th, 2024, was the most incredible day of my life. It was filled with vibrant colors, our closest family and friends, and more love than I ever thought possible. It was perfect and I replay that day in my head often.
Since then, life has been a whirlwind. We moved from Georgia to Cape Cod, where I spent the last year learning how to really be an adult. It was my first time being on my own, renting an apartment, solo traveling for work, buying a car, and learning how to navigate a whole new place. And this time, I was doing it without my mom. But thankfully, I had Joseph.
And now, here we are in Sitka, Alaska, where it rains almost every day, and where I miss my mom the most. This past year has been full of travel, growth, and learning to embrace change.
As much as I love exploring new places, homesickness has been a real part of this journey. And while that may sound a little somber, it’s actually helped me slow down and appreciate the small things more deeply, something that’s deeply shaped the way I photograph.
A lot of who I am comes from my incredible mother, Laura. She gave me my strength, my wisdom, and my heart. She’s my biggest supporter and my best friend. Living across the country from her has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But, like I said, she’s the one who taught me strength.
Born in North Georgia My parents were farmers, and that meant chasing opportunity, which also meant moving. A lot. We bounced around from place to place, trying to make it work. I spent a big chunk of my childhood in Nebraska (Go Cornhuskers!), a little time in Colorado, and eventually landed back home in Georgia.
Even though I wasn't all raised there, Georgia is my home.
It’s where I first experienced love and heartbreak, where I found my faith, and where I started to understand who I really am. It’s where I made my closest friends and married the love of my life.
Change has always been part of my story, and I think that’s why I value the little moments so much, the ones that feel like home, even if everything else is shifting.
I met my perfect husband, Joseph, back in 2021. I hate to say it was love at first sight… but honestly, it kind of was. This photo is from the very first day we ever met, at least to my knowledge lol. from that night on, it was nothing but fireworks and ridiculously big smiles. Joseph showed me just how colorful life could be. He’s everything I had ever dreamed about and so much more. He taught me what unconditional love really feels and looks like.
10 months in, everything changed.
He left to serve our country, and just like that, we started our nearly three-year-long-distance chapter. I wrote to him every single day during basic training. I visited him whenever I could, no matter where he was.
And on May 4th, 2024, we finally closed that door and began the rest of our lives, together.
Here's a slideshow of my favorite people, they shaped who I am today.
